Challenge Updates + Perks

Hi, you guys! I've been keeping up with all your comments and so happy to hear about your progress in making the Dash Sweatpants! I have been working behind the scenes to get you guys some codes and perks for participating and I have a couple of pattern updates, too. 1. For February's pattern, we will be making the Core Tee. The lovely people at iSeeFabric.com have partnered with me to offer you guys a code for your fabric. From now through February 28th, get free shipping on any order (Challenge or not) with the code FREESHIPHEM. I'll be reminding you of this with other February videos and posts, but be sure to give their site a look...all of their fabrics are a dream! 2. November's Peppermint Magazine is NOT size inclusive. In fact, they couldn't even give me finished garment measurement for it. So, I'm going to be offering an alternativ…

Hi Lindsey, The Iseefabric.com fabrics looks amazing, and I would buy some, but sadly the discount coupon is not valid in Canada and shipping cost would be too expensive. They do have some lovely fabrics at good prices. Maybe just mention that coupon is not valid on Canada/ international shipping. Cheers!

Dash pants / January

I finished my Dash pants tonight and I really like them, I used a lightweight waffle knit I found at Hobby Lobby. I chose the high waisted 1.5 “ elastic band. Very comfortable.. I would like to make another pair soon.

Love those. Great job. Look great. I never thought about a waffle knit. I've been putting off making them as I don't have sweatshirt fabric. I have been shopping my stash to find something to make them out of. I think I might have waffle knit.

Finished sweatpants (no sweat 😓) 👍

So I finished one pair for me, they turned out ok, rather loose fitting, I think next time, I will taper the legs toward the ankle as I found them rather baggy for my personal choice. The fabric I used was a lightweight viscose knit I had in my stash, so a heavier weight material would be a much better choice. Good lounging pants for the house.

I made a second pair for my husband. These turned out way better and he’s taller so fit him better in the leg without shortening the length. I probably could have made one size smaller for him, as they were a big baggy across the front but that’s ok as he has room to bend and sit. 😆Made his from needle corduroy from my stash.
