Sew Together 2026

I’m excited to be participating again this year in Sew Together, and I finished sewing the Dash Sweatpants yesterday! I made the high rise version, took 2” from the length, put in a 1” hem, and used 1 1/4” elastic for the waist. A helpful hint for the all the layers at the waist is to baste the top of the pockets to the pants before installing the waistband. It keeps everything from possibly moving. I paired my pants with a cardigan I’d previously sewn (Grandpa Cardigan from Patterns for Pirates) for a coordinating look.
