Sew Together 2026

Last month I joined 2 weeks in and did a muslin of the Dash sweatpants. Between the muslin and this month I bought a beginner serger and it was life-changing! This month I did the Core t-shirt and the sweatpants as an outfit. The shirt was from upcycling my husbands too large Abercrombie tshirt. These are my first 3 garments so there were lots of missteps. I didn’t do the shirt binding. On the Dash I went down to a 1” elastic waistband because it’s just more comfortable. Added an interior drawstring and piping (oldschool 1980s). Piping is the devil when it’s doubled up. Biggest question I have is whether the serged blind hem looks like it’s supposed to or did I miss something with the tension (went by the manual’s suggestions)?
