My first make

I am completely new to sewing, so I wasn’t confident making pants as my very first project would be successful. So, I tried this skirt instead using step by step instructions from the book " Sewing in a straight line" by Brett Bara

I started sewing when my kids were little to make Halloween costumes, then some curtains and now after many years I’ve learnt quite a lot, but there is always days when I still get the blank expression as I try to understand what is going on in a pattern. 😂😜
